Reboot Food Festival: meet the new proteins on the block!

WePlanet is a network of grassroots citizen organizations united by a belief in science-based solutions to the climate crisis, biodiversity collapse, and the need to eliminate poverty. It all started in Finland in 2015 when the first WePlanet organization was founded in Helsinki. This year, we celebrate ten years of science-based environmentalism in Finland. Today, WePlanet has mobilized tens of thousands of citizens around the world in defense of science and technology and now has 18 growing chapters on four continents, with powerful organizations everywhere from Uganda to Australia. 

 WePlanet is unique within the environmental movement for being pro-nuclear, pro-GMO, and pro-cultivated meat. We are also unique in keeping our positions under constant review to ensure we always follow the data. Our mission is to rewild vast swathes of the planet and restore our climate, all while using the best of modern technology to elevate humanity out of poverty.
